Haemophilia Factor Project:

Zonal Coordinator of Kannur Zone Rtn. Dr. K.G. Pai unveiled our first Community Service Project of this Rotary Year on the day of Installation of new team of Office Bearers on June 28, 2010 at Sreeprabha Auditorium, Payyanur. We have launched the Hemophilia Factor Project by handing over Rs. 10,000 worth to Haemophilia Factor Blood Bank at Pariyaram Medical College.

VOCATIONAL SERVICE

Ladies Tailoring and Embroidery Training:

We are conducting Free Tailoring & Embroidery Training classes for low income group of ladies for the last 8 years. 42 trainees in a batch of 3 batches in year are being trained by our club for finding their livelihood. The last batch of last year were distributed the certificates by Payyanur Municipal Chairperson Smt. K.V. Lalitha on July 17, 2011 in a function held at Rotary Bhavan, Keloth, Payyanur. Inauguration of a new of batch of 42 trainees was held on the same day by Payyanur MLA Sri. C. Krishnan. Tailoring Teacher Smt. Pankajam was honoured by Assistant Governor Rtn. Er. Thejraj Mallar
