First of all let me express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every member of my club for having reposed their confidence in me and selected me as the President of this prestigious Rotary Club of Payyanur for the year 2009-10. The team is of talented, capable and enthusiastic members who give me confidence to assure you that we could do our duties in utmost sincerity and to the best of our ability.
My Predecessors have done notable and remarkable activities during their period. It is indeed easy to top the list, but to keep it up it is really a herculear task. This year also, we should undertake innovative projects and programmes and capture the focus of the public as well as the Rotary World. This is possible only with meticulous planning, hardwork and dedication.
We have before us opportunities, to serve the community, to light lamps of hopes in lives of have nots of the society and to make this world a better place for the future generations.
Every member is requested to take Rotary activities next to his family and set apart sufficient time and energy to make Rotary vibrant with activities beneficial to the community. Lets us give more than we take from the society and add value to our life.
The first and foremost requirement for success is team work because nothing succeeds like team work.To be a successful leader, I anticipate all the assistance and guidance from each and every member of my club. your creative ideas, positive suggestions and healthy criticism will definitely improve our club activities.
